There is Hope Annual Event

Hope, Help & Healing

Our Story • Our Motto

There is Hope. You are loved and cared for by Jesus.

High on the cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean at Pemaquid Lighthouse, the vision for There Is Hope was born—a calling to meet people in their pain and walk with them toward healing.

My name is Camille. I am a registered nurse serving the greater Manchester, New Hampshire community. Throughout my career, I have witnessed deep suffering—chronic illnesses, acute trauma and illnesses, addiction, isolation, grief, and brokenness—but also moments of true healing and restoration.

There Is Hope was created out of a prayer time I had asking the Lord to help me create a space where multidisciplinary teams that are highly skilled can bring people face-to-face with real, safe support. Each year, individuals come carrying heavy burdens, and here they are met with compassion, care, and connection.

Through partnerships with:

  • medical and nursing support
  • recovery and crisis programs
  • community agencies and churches

we offer more than resources—we build relationships that restore dignity, stability, and purpose.

At the heart of it all is a simple truth: You are seen. You are valued. You are not alone.

•  “God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son…”  John 3:16  •

What to Expect at each “There Is Hope” Event

Live reflective worship • Relaxed atmosphere with games, connection, and no solicitation •  On-site nursing and crisis intervention care and guidance • One-on-one emotional and psychosocial support • Jesus Centered Loving Prayer/Ministry with Active Listening and Kindness • Clothing, hygiene kits, harm reduction supplies • Hot lunch, water, and healthy snacks • Hot Coffee, Tea and Cocoa with Instant Soups!

The 2025 “There is Hope” event allowed us to witness the Lord’s careful guidance in planning, transformation, and radical love in action. Connections were made. Lives were changed. The gentle and kind spirit overflowed to soften hearts and create a space of love and peace.

This entire event was powered by people who care. Just local hearts, community hands, and faith-filled generosity.

• Inspiring Stories •

Neal's Story

Last year at the There is HOPE event, attendees came together to pray for Neal, who was facing homelessness and struggling with addiction. Through the power of prayer and community support, Neal has turned his life around.

Since that time, he has successfully overcome his drug addiction and is no longer homeless. With assistance from a Baptist church in Hooksett, he was provided with the support needed to secure an apartment. Neal wants everyone to know that his journey of recovery and stability all started with a prayer at the There is HOPE event.

This remarkable story serves as a powerful reminder of the impact that faith, community, and hope can have in transforming lives.

Zack's Story | Struggles to Strength

Zach attended the 2023 There Is Hope event, a pivotal moment in his life. At that time, he was visibly struggling—thin, with matted hair, and under the influence of substances. Despite these challenges, he remained at the event for the entire four hours, engaging with the resources provided. He took part in meals and, later, received prayers from Federal Chaplains, marking a turning point in his journey.

A New Beginning
After the event, Zach found support through Pure Springs Church, which took him under their wing. The church community provided him with the guidance and encouragement he needed to enter recovery. Through dedication and the support of his new-found family, Zach achieved significant milestones, gaining weight and reclaiming his health.

Sharing His Story
By the time the 2024 There Is Hope event took place, Zach had transformed his life. He returned to share his testimony of recovery, inspiring others who might find themselves in similar situations. His journey serves as a powerful reminder of the impact that support, prayer, and community can have on an individual’s path to restoration.

Zach’s story exemplifies hope and transformation, proving that recovery is possible with the right support and determination.

Diana's Story

In 2017, Diana attended her first Together in Hope (TIH) event, seeking support during a challenging period in her life. Unhoused yet dedicated to her job at the United States Postal Service, she struggled to make ends meet due to insufficient wages.

During the event, she engaged in a heartfelt conversation with Kevin, the pastor overseeing the gathering. Recognizing her struggles, Kevin took the time to connect Diana with local resources that could provide the assistance she needed. Through this support, Diana not only found practical solutions to her housing crisis but also experienced a profound spiritual transformation. She embraced faith, gave her life to Jesus, and became an active member of a local church. In time, Diana secured stable housing, marking a significant milestone in her journey toward a brighter future.

Stories like Diana’s exemplify the impact of community support and faith in transforming lives. For those looking for resources or assistance, the TIH community remains dedicated to fostering hope and providing tangible help.
