Our Story • How it All Began
Since the beginning, my one prayer has been: ‘Lord, if You want me to serve a mission in need, move hearts to join me and provide what Your will is for that mission through us.’

Founded by our President, Camille Gaydos, RN, the HUHO Foundation exists to renew communities and restore lives. It is Camille’s HOPE that by personally showing the love of Jesus in word and deed, the HUHO Galas and the There Is Hope outreach will be a wonderful time for ALL.
On Christmas Day 2011, Camille Gaydos felt a powerful calling to launch the Help Us Help Others Gala—a creative, joy-filled way to support life-changing missions both locally and globally. What began as a simple step of faith quickly became a beloved annual event, now affectionately known as the HUHO Gala.
Our Mission
The HUHO Foundation brings people, resources, and purpose together to support volunteer-led missions—delivering practical tools, academic resources, and medical support where they’re needed most. Together, we renew communities, restore lives, and help turn compassion into lasting impact.
After our first sold-out gala, a 40-foot medical container was shipped to a jungle clinic in Cameroon. Within minutes of its arrival, a baby girl was born—one of over 200 children since then whose lives began in that very clinic, now with birth certificates giving them access to school and healthcare for the first time.
HUHO doesn’t just reach across oceans, it impacts lives here in New England. Every year, thousands of dollars go to local missions serving families, youth, and the vulnerable. With support from generous sponsors and partners, the gala features New England’s top musicians, artists, youth leaders, and businesses. Past sponsors include Elliot Hospital, Bank of NH, KW Realtors, Lavallee Brensinger, Popovers, Zorvino Vineyards, Tuscan Kitchen, The Palace Theatre, and many more—including bipartisan political support.
Now celebrating over a decade of impact, Camille Gaydos has launched this endeavor into a 501c3 Foundation! Please continue to pray that each gala stirs hearts to give, serve, and share God’s love.
